About Us

Walking the Heartland is a group started by a heart patient, for heart patients, care givers and loved ones.

Have you or a loved one
  • Survived a heart attack?
  • Had a procedure done on your heart?
  • Been diagnosed with heart disease?
There are a lot of unknowns when you experience a heart related incident.

Come to the Walking the Heartland group meetings to share your story and experience.

Ask questions about the unknown and learn what others have experienced.

Doctors, Nurses and other care giving staff are true heroes in all our lives and we are all here because of them.

The Walking the Heartland group will fill the gaps and give you a network of friends who have been in similar or the same experience

Don't live in fear of the unknown. Join the Walking the Heartland group and get an inner peace by sharing and listening to stories and solutions of others who are walking in your shoes or who has a loved one who is in the same situation.

If interested contact Curt Herrman at 785.410.6846 or at

Meeting dates are the last Tuesday of every month at 5:00 and go 1 hour.

NOTICE: discussions and suggestions by this group should NEVER replace the advice or anything prescribed by your physician.
